The Royal Netherlands Navy requests information with regard to commercially available expendable oceanographic probe system which can perform the following tasks:

1) Launch of different types of oceanographic probes (consist of an automatic launcher and launch tube);

2) Analyse and process data (Oceanographic Data Aquisition System);

3) Integratable in combat management systems or sonar suite programs.

The system shall be for the new frigates, having Anti Submarine Warfare as a main task. Given the ship design planning, the system needs to be ready for production in the near future (< 3 years).

This market consultation will be held with regard to this need, in order to determine whether the market can meet certain requirements; which added value can be provided with the delivery; and which commercial parties are interested in the assignment or part of the assignment.
