The TA programme is designed to complement an EIB loan allocated to 3 micro finance institutions under the Smallholder Financing Facility. It will be delivered via 3 components:

Component 1: Provide tailor-made capacity building activities for MFIs to reinforce financial and social performance with a view to improving agricultural lending practices in line with the requirements of the financing facility.

Component 2: Improve local capacity to promote good agricultural practices and responsible animal husbandry.

Component 3: Provide Financial Literacy training and Business Development Services to Final Beneficiaries.
