The monitoring will be completed with landcover changes obtained from satellite imagery pre-dating Sentinel, in order to follow landcover changes since the creation on Natura 2000 sites. The largest possible proportion of Natura 2000 sites for the longest possible timespan should be covered.

The result of the monitoring of the landcover changes within the Natura 2000 sites will be accessible from a public website, letting European users observe the sequence of changes as well as their amount, for each site.
