The Digital Education Hackathon (https://digieduhack.com/en/) was piloted for three consecutive years under the Digital Education action plan 2018-2020 and it quickly became one of the European Commission’s flagship initiatives on digital education. The initiative will continue under the Digital Education action plan 2021-2027, with a long-term goal to support grass-root innovation and contribute to the objectives of the Digital Education Hub. The implementation of the Digital Education Hackathon will be done through an open call for tenders covering the design, implementation and full evaluation of the next three editions of the Digital Education Hackathon (2023-2024-2025). The tender will be organised in view of establishing a service contract for further developing and scaling up the Digital Education Hackathon; managing, expanding and engaging its community; supporting the dissemination and implementation of valuable solutions; linking the initiative with the Digital Education Hub.
