 7.Contract description:

The EU is creating a technical assistance facility, namely the 'Switch to green' facility, to develop and foster effective dialogue and cooperation on transformation towards inclusive green economy among the EU and developing countries during the start-up phase of the flagship 'Switch to green'. The 'Switch to green' facility will (i) support a platform for dialogue and exchange on practical approaches to promote transformation to an inclusive green economy in developing countries; (ii) provide technical support to identifying and formulating programmes and projects contributing to the 'Switch to green' flagship; and (iii) contribute to enhancing knowledge creation, dissemination and communication efforts of the interventions taken under this flagship. This component is meant to have a global coverage.

Maximum budget: 1 000 000 EUR.

December 2014.

Regulation (EU) No 236/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 laying down common rules and procedures for the implementation of the Union's instruments for financing external action; and
Regulation (EU) No 233/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 11.3.2014 establishing a financing instrument for development cooperation for the period 2014–2020 under which this contract is to be financed.
