The subject matter of the contract is to analyse and quantify the overall potential and conditions for creation of new European jobs and growth associated with ICT-based innovation relevant to demographic change. This includes an overall estimation of the potential size of the European silver economy from now until 2025 in terms of markets, economic growth potential and GDP impacts, providing an overview of current and planned silver economy-related initiatives in Europe, development of the 10 most promising cases within the European silver economy where innovation can create new jobs and economic growth and providing policy recommendations at EU level regarding how to best grow the European silver economy.
