Achieving for Children (AfC) (Children's services social enterprise provision for both The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and The London Borough of Richmond) is currently undertaking a commissioning programme to determine the delivery of School Meals provision in the boroughs. Given the size, complexity and strategic importance of the contract, AfC wishes to give advance notice to potential suppliers that the opportunity will be advertised in the 1st working week in January 2016 on the London Tenders Portal. This Prior Information Notice does not constitute a call for competition to procure any services, supplies or works for AfC and AfC is not bound to accept any tenders submitted in due course. AfC is not liable for any costs, fees or expenses incurred by any party preparing to participate in the procurement. Any procurement of any services, supplies or works by the Council in due course will be carried out strictly in accordance with the provisions in the UK and EU Procurement Regulations. The opportunity will be split into lots:
1. Lot 1 Kingston only,
2. Lot 2 Richmond only,
3. Lot 3 Both Kingston and Richmond.
Lot 3 if awarded would be in place of Lots 1 and 2, therefore AfC retain the right not to award Lot 3 if awarding Lots 1 and 2, similarly AfC retain the right not to award Lots 1 and 2, if awarding Lot 3. For more information, please contact: Daniel Hodges, commissioning@kingston.gov.uk
