Preparatory Action — Smart Rural Areas in the 21st Century — BIS
The European Parliament initiated the launching of a second preparatory action aiming to test the implementation of the ‘smart villages’ concept. The overall objective of the second preparatory action is to prepare the implementation of Smart Villages initiatives through the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2020.
Delivery will usually be at the contractor's location.
The contracting authority aims to establish a contract with a single contractor in order to conclude a second preparatory action on smart rural areas in the 21st century.
The estimated total value of the contract referred to in sections II.1.5) and II.2.6) of the present notice shall be considered as a maximum amount. As a result, tenders exceeding it will be rejected. Prices shall be all-inclusive: the European Commission will not pay expenses for any additional costs incurred from the execution of the contract.

A maximum of two representatives per tender may attend the opening session. For organisational and security reasons the tenderer must provide the full name, date of birth, nationality and ID or passport number of the representatives at least two working days in advance to: AGRI-EVALUATION@ec.europa.eu. The representatives will be required to present the submission receipt generated by eSubmission.
