Ayrshire Housing All Trades Reactive Repair and Maintenance Works
Multi-trade day to day reactive repairs including emergency call outs, void maintenance and sundry minor works to various tenanted properties both internally and externally within Ayrshire. Start date circa end 2019 beginning 2020.
Ayrshire Housing requires a multi-trade contractor to deliver day to day reactive repairs including emergency call out facility, void maintenance works and sundry repair works within various tenanted properties. Ayrshire Housing has a current housing stock of circa 1 500 properties at various locations throughout Ayrshire. The location of the properties is provided in the draft list of addresses which have been downloaded to the portal.
This procurement has been brought forward as the incumbent contractor is no longer able to fulfil the contract.
Workload will vary from week to week. The successful contractor will not have exclusive rights to carry out all of the repair works. A reactive repairs and void maintenance support contractor was appointed through a public procurement process in 2018 and a proportion of the works will continue to be shared with this contractor.
Option to extend the contract by a variable period not exceeding 24 months.
The ESPD will be assessed to ensure all bidders pass the threshold criteria for working with a public body and Questions 4C1.1/4C1.2 and 4C.10 scored. The 5 highest bidders who have passed all other sections will be invited to go through to the tender stage of the procurement procedure. If less than 5 bidders pass all sections of the ESPD only the bidders who pass all sections will be allowed to proceed to tender stage. If Ayrshire Housing decide there is insufficient acceptable bidders the procurement may be cancelled.
Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in Regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

A draft portion of the invitation to tender documents providing conditions of contract, preliminaries and second stage quality scoring sections along with the draft list of addresses and Specification section and the association's current procurement strategy has been downloaded to the portal. This is for information and guidance only as to the requirements of the contract. Bidders should satisfy themselves that they can fulfill the contract requirements prior to completing the ESPD.
The question and answer facility will close 7 days prior to the ESPD return date.
