VII.2.1)Description of the modifications
Nature and extent of the modifications (with indication of possible earlier changes to the contract):

TRP publishes this notice to record its intension to modify its contract for the operation and management of Hyde Park Winter Wonderland 2018/2019 – 2023/24 to:

• Refine the requirement for the Event Organiser to ensure that all staff employed for the purpose of, or in connection with the Event (on a permanent or temporary basis) are paid no less than the London Living Wage, (as appropriate to the location of their workplace) by 1 April 2023;

• Introduce a ticketing system for the 2021/22 Event, in line with the requirements of the contract and in response to the impacts of COVID-19; and

• Include a schedule of The Royal Parks Trade Marks for use in relation to the Events.

Need for additional works, services or supplies by the original contractor/concessionaire (Art. 43(1)(b) of Directive 2014/23/EU, Art. 72(1)(b) of Directive 2014/24/EU, Art. 89(1)(b) of Directive 2014/25/EU)
Description of the economic or technical reasons and the inconvenience or duplication of cost preventing a change of contractor:

TRP believes that this modification is permissible under Regulation 43(5) of the CCR 2016 as the modifications are (both individually and combined) below both:(a) the threshold mentioned in regulation 9; and(b) 10% of the value of the initial concession contract.
