1)Short description
The provision of carriageway and footway surface treatments that comprises of carriageway surface dressing, carriageway micro-asphalt, installation of high friction surfacing and footway slurry sealing. All works will be in accordance with the relevant Clauses of the Specification for Highway Works and appropriate sector schemes. The Lot will include, inter alia, all hardness testing, design, pre-patching, weed treatment, removal of vegetation, choice of materials, recommendation of appropriate system, public engagement, traffic management, installation and aftercare, raising of statutory undertakers covers and road studs and replacement of road markings. Works value will be in the region of £800k per annum.

Undertaking of various minor structural repair works in both urban and rural environments with a works value of up to £10000 per project, all in accordance with the relevant Clauses of the Specification for Highway Works. Works may include, inter alia, minor concrete repairs, repairs to timber footway bridge decks, repairs to gates, stiles, fences and the like, repairs to drainage systems and other general civils works, repairs to brickwork and stonework, many of which will be reactive in nature.
