The Isle of Wight Council (The Council) is contracting for the development of a mixed use scheme on the site of the former Sandham Middle School, in Sandown. It is proposed that in partnership with a development partner, the scheme will comprise of extra care/independent living/assisted living housing with additional bungalows, community hub and nursery. It is anticipated that a minimum of 75 extra care flats and 12 bungalows will be provided. The Council is seeking a development partner who can bring expertise in the development, funding and operation of such a scheme.
