Die Kantonspolizei Bern erfüllt die sicherheits- und gerichtspolizeilichen Aufgaben im Kanton Bern. Für die Ausübung der polizeilichen Aufgaben rüstet die Kantonspolizei Bern ihre entsprechend legitimierten Mitarbeitenden mit Polizeifunktion mit persönlich zugeteilten Dienstpistolen aus. Beschaffungsziel ist der Ersatz der zurzeit verwendeten Dienstpistolen mit zeitgemässen, einfach und sicher zu handhabenden Waffen, welche den Anforderungen unseres technischen Pflichtenhefts entsprechen.
