The European Parliament acting as the Contracting Authority on behalf of the European Court of Auditors, the European Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions has decided to issue this invitation to tender to conclude framework contracts (FWC) for the supply of translation services of monolingual and multilingual source language documents from English or French or Italian or Spanish into German.
The FWC shall enter into force on 1.1.2020 or on the date on which it is signed by the last contracting party, and shall run until the end of 2020. The maximum duration of a framework contract will be 5 years.
The signature of a FWC does not constitute an obligation to outsource any translation assignments under that agreement.

Description of renewals:
The FWC shall be renewed tacitly on an annual basis, but its duration may not exceed five years, unless one of the parties objects thereto by registered letter sent at least three months before the expiry of the initial duration or before each an annual renewal date. Such renewal shall not entail any modification or deferment of existing obligations.
