RE20476 Maintenance, Service and Repair of Laboratory and Scientific Equipment — Dynamic Purchasing System
UK SBS wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of the maintenance, servicing and repair of laboratory and scientific equipment. UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the ‘Regulations’).
The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) shall be in operation for a period of 2 years with the option to extend +1 +1 years.
The DPS will be broken down into 41 categories:
If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your request to participate, you will be invited to submit tenders for relevant service requirements through a call for competition.
The initial deadline for requests to participate is 11.00 on 28 October 2020, however, the DPS remains open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its 2-year duration. The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend and there will be no form of exclusivity or volume guarantee under this DPS.

UK SBS is establishing this DPS for itself and Customers who are Other Public Bodies (OPB's). This means that OPB's referred to in the OJEU Notice may also participate in the contract.

Suppliers will be assessed on the selection criteria information provided in response to their request to participate, for a place on the RE20476 (DPS).

The contracting authority expressly reserves the right:
(i) not to award any contract as a result of the procurement process commenced by publication of this notice; and
(ii) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the procurement; and in no circumstances will the contracting authority be liable for any costs incurred by any Supplier. If the contracting authority decides to enter into a Contract with the successful supplier, this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of bidders. All submissions will be assessed in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015, for procurement values that exceed Regulation 5 (Threshold amounts).
