Disclaimer: The description of scope of the machine learning for improved EGNOS and Galileo operations and service provision procurement procedure given below is only indicative, aimed at outlining the concept in broad terms. It is subject to adjustments and not to be considered final or binding.

The aim of the contract is to develop a prototype tool which, thanks to machine learning algorithms, helps to improve decision and planning processes of EGNOS and Galileo, the European Global Navigation Satellite Systems (EGNSS), for operations and service provision aspects.

As part of the contract, the following tasks will be requested:

— analysis and manipulation of the sources of data to make them ready for processing with machine learning techniques;

— design, development and delivery of a prototype tool implementing machine learning algorithm(s) allowing to make anomaly detection, recommendations and/or predictions in support to European Global Navigation Satellite System (EGNSS) operations and service provision decision making and planning processes.

The scope of the procurement will also cover the provision of engineering support services.

The contract may involve access to, handling and/or storage of classified information, which is subject to the security rules for protecting EU classified information (EUCI) laid down in Decision (EU, Euratom) 2015/444 and to the Decision’s implementing rules.
