Invitation to a dialogue conference for the preparation of a notice for an innovation partnership.

Registration: By 24 September 2020 — register by clicking on the link in the attached dialogue conference note.

Date of the actual conference: Monday 28 September from 10.00-11.30

One-to-one meetings can be held after the conference.

Everything will be held digitally, the actual conference will be sent directly on the Norwegian Coastal Administration's youtube channel. The link will be sent to those who have registered in good time before the conference starts, The one-to-one meetings will be held via Skype.

The intention of the dialogue conference is to establish a dialogue to acquire knowledge of whether there are future systems to cover the Norwegian Coastal Administration's needs in the market - or whether it is possible to develop them.

We would like suppliers to share their knowledge on the available options, and respond as much as possible to the questions at the end of the dialogue conference note.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

The Norwegian Coastal Administration's pilot service contributes to making traffic at sea safer by providing the vessel's crew with necessary knowledge of the fairway whilst they are sailing to and from Norwegian ports.

In addition to the pilot's professional competence and comprehensive local competence, a digital support tool is used for the assignment, including GNSS. The systems are efficient, but are also exposed to factors that can affect accuracy.

The Norwegian Coastal Administration would like to use this innovation partnership to develop a support tool for the pilot service that compensates for a lack of reliability and can warn the pilot of interference.
