II.2.4)Description of the procurement:

2.1 Description of construction project.

The County Council has approved the construction of a new lower secondary school in Hunndalen at Vardal lower secondary school in Gjøvik in the county council case 128/2019 and the decision is based on, (quote):

A preliminary project is being started for establishment of two lower secondary schools for the districts of Kopperud, Vindingstad, Blomhaug, Grande, Gjøvik, Fredheim and Lundstein nursery schools. The preliminary project will contain room plans for any new buildings and reconstruction of the existing schools as well as co location of a lower secondary school and the cultural school. In parallel with the initial phases of the preliminary project, the Chief Municipal Executive requests reviewing site alternatives and cost estimates.

The Chief Municipal Executive is asked to present the cases to the County Council during the first half of 2020.

A hearing will be held related to changes of district borders in-line with the provisions in Udir — 2 — 2012.

The plan is to build a new lower secondary school in Hunndalen where the old school is currently located. The final content in the school will be clarified in further planning. Construction start is approx. 1 December 2021 with completion 1 June 2023 and thereafter one year commissioning.

2.2 Description of the assignment and project management.

The project is in an early phase. The assignment starts in November 2020 and will be completed during 2024.

In order to manage progress, review and organise the project further a company/business will be engaged to conduct project management. The project management must have good competence within all of the necessary disciplines including technical, hereunder alternative energy solutions. The main assignment for the project manager is to be the project's ‘daily leader’.
