The European Commission [Directorate-General Joint Research Centre (DG JRC) in Geel] intends to purchase a fourier transform infrared spectroscopy coupled with attenuated total reflectance (FTIR-ATR).
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy coupled with attenuated total reflectance (FTIR-ATR) is a non-destructive and rapid technique very well suited for routine control of purity. Optimal results are obtained by analysing products in its melted form. Therefore, a compact system able to be placed easily in different locations to facilitate the sample handling/preparation and provided with a temperature controlled ATR unit is required.
