The works concern the preparation of the Opsangervegen road to an Environmental street. The objective of the road project is to reduce the transit traffic and connect the central areas of Husnes closer to a park near the Osangervatnet Lake. The works include road construction works, laying of new road and marine Water and Sewage pipes, renovation of the storm water system, as well as landscaping works for a park. The road length of the project is approx. 1 650 m.
The road construction works include the expansion of the road width to 7 m and the construction of a foot and cycle path with a width of 3 m. The water and sewage works involve the laying of approx. 1 620 m sewer pipeline with dimensions DN315 and DN400 mm, and approx. 1 650 m water pipe with dimension DN280. A submarine pipeline through the Opsangervatnet Lake shall also be laid. The length of the pipeline is approx 1 650 m with a dimension DN280 mm. A new surface water system shall be established by using i.a. OV pipes with dimensions DN215-DN1600 mm. The landscaping works includes works for a park towards the Opsangervatnet Lake with green areas along the road.
