Since 1989, the EP Strasbourg office has been developing a programme of meetings for young people to get to know the role of the EP and to understand the need for personal involvement in a democracy. The aim of this programme is to prepare young people for their role as European citizens.
For twenty days, up to 600 young people and their teachers from European Union countries, will be brought together and organised as part of a programme corresponding to a simulation of the activity of European parliamentarians (committee meeting, plenary session, votes, discussions, adoption of resolutions, etc.). A team of facilitators, under the authority of an EP official, will be responsible for the preparation, coordination and facilitation of these days.
The selected company will be responsible for leading the programme and motivating participants, supervising young people during the day, and ensuring their active and lively participation in the programme.
