On completion, this development will provide: learning spaces; business incubation units and the equipping of innovation labs providing students and employers with access to the latest digital and engineering technologies, with the intent of delivering a step change in higher level vocational skills (including higher apprenticeships) and will thus support the economic growth and resilience of businesses and the workforce in Chesterfield and North East Derbyshire. This will be achieved by providing new, local routes to vocational higher-level skills.
