EASME wishes to enter into a service contract for promoting social considerations into public procurement procedures for social economy enterprises related to the implementation of Directive 2014/24/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26.2.2014 on public procurement and repealing Directive 2004/18/EC, Directive 2014/25/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26.2.2014 on procurement by entities operating in the water, energy, transport and postal services sectors and repealing Directive 2004/17/EC, and Directive 2014/23/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 26.2.2014 on the award of concession contracts. The task will be the preparation and implementation of 1-day information and dissemination events (hereinafter called ‘conferences’) aimed at training and raising awareness of social considerations in the public procurement procedures, in a minimum of 15 EU Member States. The objective of the conferences will be to guide the participants through the new provisions of the Directives, to highlight opportunities and strategic choices available to them when preparing public procurement documents, and to demonstrate how qualitative aspects related to social considerations and criteria can be integrated in public procurement procedures.
