Provision of sound files to Irish radio stations on developments during European Parliament’s Plenary sessions and the production of occasional podcasts on European Parliament policy issues

The European Parliament Liaison Office in Ireland (EPLO) requires a service for the provision of raw audio files relating to plenary sessions of the European Parliament that take place in Strasbourg and Brussels, to supply audio files for a certain number, (up to a maximum of 5 per annum) for ad hoc high level visits of MEPs, the EP President or Committees to Ireland; for interview report with rapporteurs following the final vote on a proposed legislative measure in the relevant Committee and for the production of podcasts relating to significant development in the Parliament from time to time. The raw audio files will be made available for download free of charge from a specific website to be established and operated by the successful tenderer and which will be accessible by all radio stations in Ireland.

The European parliament seeks to establish a Framework Contract covering journalistic services to provide reports on various activities in relation to the European Parliament especially reports on the Parliament's plenary sessions, the results of votes in Committees of the Parliament, activities of the Parliament's committees and delegations and making available to radio stations and online media in Ireland the views and comments of individual MEPs in relation to various aspects of EU policies and legislation relevant to the European Union. The contract also requires the successful tenderer to prepare reports on performance of the contract.
