De HAN zoekt een betrouwbare, flexibele en deskundige partner die regie voert op het proces en de uitvoering van het onderhoud aan de transportinstallaties en de HAN daarin ontzorgt. Voor de HAN is het van groot belang dat de Opdrachtnemer een flexibele partner is die adequaat met voldoende personeelscapaciteit op ad hoc situaties kan inspelen. Daarnaast dient de toekomstige Opdrachtnemer bij uitvoering van de Opdracht zorg te dragen voor het minimaliseren van de impact van de werkzaamheden op de onderwijsprocessen en dat zij haar planning en uitvoering hierop proactief aanpast.
