UK SBS wishes to establish a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the provision of high value laboratory equipment (high value meaning GBP 200 001.00 upwards). UK SBS is managing this procurement process in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (as may be amended from time to time) (the ‘Regulations’).

The Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) shall be in operation for a period of 2 years with the option to extend + 1 + 1 years.

The DPS will be broken down into 41 categories:

If you are successfully appointed to the DPS following your request to participate, you will be invited to submit tenders for relevant service requirements through a call for competition.

The initial deadline for requests to participate is 11.00 on 19 November 2020, however, the DPS remains open to any supplier to request to participate throughout its 2-year duration. The DPS does not guarantee any minimum spend and there will be no form of exclusivity or volume guarantee under this DPS.

If the contracting authority decides to enter into a Dynamic Purchasing system with the successful supplier, this does not mean that there is any guarantee of subsequent contracts being awarded. Any expenditure, work or effort undertaken prior to contract award is accordingly a matter solely for the commercial judgement of bidders. Any orders placed under this Dynamic Purchasing System will form a separate contract under the scope of this framework between the supplier and the specific requesting other contracting body. The contracting authority and other contracting bodies utilising the framework reserve the right to use any electronic portal during the life of the agreement. The values provided for a Dynamic Purchasing System in this notice is only an estimate. We cannot guarantee any business values or volumes.
