• the insurance will include legal aid;

• the insurance must be valid for driving in Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Finland;

• in accordance with the Motor Vehicle Liability Act, the third party motor insurance company is responsible for damage that occurs up to 2 months after the expiry date of the trade plates.

List and brief description of conditions:

Qualification requirement: the tenderer must be a registered and approved insurance company, cf. the Regulation on Traffic Safety § 1a.

Documentation requirement: the tenderer must verify their fulfilment of this requirement when submitting tender offers. On request from the contracting authority, the tenderer must provide documentation that the tenderer has been approved or registered for business by the financial supervisory authority of Norway.
