Het voorwerp van de opdracht is de bouw van een statische fiets- en voetgangersbrug over het Handelsdok te Gent. De toekomstige brug zal de Handelsdokkaai (westelijke oever) verbinden met de Schipperskaai (oostelijke oever) en bevindt zich in het verlengde van de Kraankindersstraat.
