- Educational Qualification: Building Surveyor, Structural/Civil Engineer, or Architect with recognised university degree to NFQ Level 8/EQF Level 6 or equivalent.. . - Professional Qualification: Building Surveyor: person named on a register maintained pursuant of Part 5 (Registration of Building Surveyors) of the Building Control Act 2007 or equivalent: Chartered Engineer as defined by the Institute of Civil Engineers in Ireland (Charter Amendment) Act 1969 or equivalent; Architect: person named on a register maintained pursuant of Part 3 (Registration of Architects) of the Building Control Act 2007 or equivalent.. . - Experience: Two years postgraduate experience with a minimum of one year in building surveying and inspection services.. . - Professional Body: Evidence of current membership of a recognised Professional Body.
