The study shall assist the commission in view of the possible preparation of an implementing act laying down minimum quality standards for treatment of WEEE, or any other policy option to be identified. On the basis of an assessment of the experience from the implementation of specific WEEE treatment requirements in the Member States, the study shall assess the costs and benefits of such possible implementing act in environmental, economic, and social terms.
It shall also provide assistance in relation to the drafting of a delegated act laying down the criteria for the assessment of equivalent conditions for the treatment of WEEE outside the EU, taking into consideration existing relevant studies, the European Standards for the treatment of WEEE and any new relevant developments, including at international level.

If you believe that there was maladministration, you may lodge a complaint to the European Ombudsman within 2 years of the date when you became aware of the facts on which the complaint is based (see http:// www.ombudsman.europa.eu). Such complaint does not have as an effect either to suspend the time-limit to launch an appeal or to open a new period for lodging an appeal.
Within 2 months of the notification of the award decision you may lodge an appeal to the body referred to in VI.4.1.
