Equipment for detecting HPV DNA shall be procured. The equipment must be suitable for screening, including primary screening, secondary screening, follow-up after treatment and for research purposes.

The platform must be validated and approved for the SurePath medium, and have a capacity of at least 300 tests per. working day between 8.00-15.30, and over night.

The procurement of a HPV analysis platform, including consumables, suitable for use in screening, including primary screening, secondary screening, follow-up after treatment and for research purposes. The platform must be able to use test material in SurePath medium. The instrumentation from when the contract is signed must meet the need for approx. 300 tests per day and night.

Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in the Official Journal of the European Union in the cases listed below

Explanation:

The Department for Pathology, Oslo University Hospital, shall purchase equipment for detection of HPV DNA. The equipment must be suitable for screening, including primary screening, secondary screening, follow-up after treatment and for research purposes.

The platform must be validated and approved for the SurePath medium, and have a capacity of at least 300 tests per. working day between 8.00-15.30, and over night.

The Department has limited areas available, and the analysis equipment must be of limited size and must fit in 25 m2 rooms where around 5 m2 must contain workbenches and storage.

The contracting authority has investigated the market and to our best knowledge, there is only one supplier of equipment that meets all the requirements stated in the description, and the appendix 2.4. Cf. §13-4 the Public Procurement Act (Norwegian: LOA).
