Framework Agreement for the Provision of furniture and related services
The University of Essex will be commencing a tender opportunity for the supply of different types of furniture including but not limited to office, breakout, laboratory, outdoor, reception, café / bistro, auditorium seating and integrated secure ICT desking furniture.
Ahead of this tender process the University of Essex would like to engage with potential suppliers to discuss the proposed sourcing strategy and to help us refine our requirements by holding a supplier day on Wednesday the 6.2.2019.
We want to engage with the industry experts so that we can ensure our requirements are appropriate when we go out to tender and that the market is able to deliver what we need.

The supplier day will take place on Wednesday the 6.2.2019 at the University of Essex Colchester campus, please confirm your attendance by emailing Procure@essex.ac.uk stating your organisation and attendees. All requests to attend must be received by 17:00 on Wednesday the 30.1.2019.
Due to the location of the Supplier Day numbers will be limited; therefore we request that attendance is restricted to a maximum of 2 key members of your organisation.
This Lot may include, but not be limited to, provision of the following:
— Office Desking and cable management
— Meeting Room Furniture
— Height Adjustable Desking
— Wooden Storage
— Office Seating
— Optional: Removal and disposal of any existing furniture that will be replaced by a core list item
The University of Essex has three locations within Essex which furniture supplies may need to be delivered to throughout the life of the proposed contract: Colchester Campus (Wivenhoe Park, Colchester CO4 3SQ), Southend Campus (Elmer Approach, Southend-on-Sea SS1 1LW) and Loughton Campus (Hatfields, Rectory Lane, Loughton IG10 3RY).

The University of Essex reserves the right to cancel the procurement at any stage of the process and not to proceed with the award of any contract. The University of Essex shall not be liable for interested parties’ or tenderers’ costs in relation to this procurement in any circumstances.
