The European Economic and Social Committee is looking to enter into 1 framework contract for annual training and refresher courses for members of the firefighting department, belonging to the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) and the Committee of the Regions (CoR), in accordance with the Royal Decree of 28.3.2014 on the prevention of fire in workplaces in Belgium (published in the Belgian Official Gazette of 23.04.2014).
The following are included in the subject of the contract:
— training courses,
— programmes, audio-visual means and teaching aids,
— issuing of certificates,
— personal protective equipment for participants,
— lunch and snacks during breaks,
— provision of the training centre by the contracting authority where the training courses will be provided,
— consultation meetings in the premises of the contracting authority,
— any programmes adaptations and teaching materials.

The services that are the subject of the contract must be carried out in 1 training centre located in Belgium, at a maximum distance of 60 km from the headquarters of the CESE (Rue Belliard 99, B-1040 Brussels).
II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
As an indication, and without commitment on the part of the Committee, the number and types of training courses expected for this contract are as follows:
— training course to acquire skills pertaining to the management of the firefighting department, intervention in the event of fire, and evacuation of occupants: this training course is called ‘basic first aid training for team leaders’, and the number of training courses expected for the total duration of the contract is 1,
— training course to acquire skills to intervene in the event of fire, and the evacuation of occupants: this training course is called ‘basic first aid training for a team member’, and the number of training courses expected for the total duration of the contract is 2,
— first aid refresher course for team leader: this training course is called ‘first aid refresher course for team leader’, and the number of training courses expected for the total duration of the contract is 5,
— first aid refresher course for team member: this training course is called ‘first aid refresher course for team member’, and the number of training courses expected for the total duration of the contract is 28.
The number of participants expected for each training/refresher course is 15.
