Contract for Networking Activities in Support of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)
The subject matter of the contract is to provide the European Commission with technical assistance during the preparation and implementation of networking activities in support to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) for the 2021-2027 programming period.
The purpose of the contract is to facilitate networking — regarding the design and implementation of CAP support and knowledge exchange - between national networks, organisations and administrations in the field of agriculture and rural development. The networking activities will seek to: increase stakeholder involvement; accompany Member States with the transition to a performance based delivery model; promote exchange of experience and the dissemination of results.
Related activities may include:
— collecting, analysing and disseminating information on agriculture and rural development,
— contributing to capacity building for Member States administrations,
— facilitating exchanges of experience between stakeholders and peer to peer learning.
The purpose of the contract is to facilitate networking - regarding innovation and knowledge exchange in the field of agriculture and rural development - between farmers, foresters, researchers, advisors, national networks, organisations, administrations, and other innovation actors. The networking activities will focus on the design and implementation of CAP support to foster innovation, knowledge sharing, and digitalisation in agriculture and rural areas and aim at generating input to and encourage the uptake of the Horizon Europe (HE) research and innovation actions.
— collection and dissemination of information and good practices,
— creation of online platforms, fora and organisation of events to facilitate exchanges of experience between R&I stakeholders and peer to peer learning as well as feed into HE programming,
— collection of information and facilitation of networking of EIP Operational Groups, research and innovation projects funded under HE and other multi-actor innovation projects.
The purpose of the contract is to provide, mainly to Commission and Member States, support for performance measurement and analysis of the CAP post 2020.
The purpose of the contract is the provision of logistical support for the activities of the other lots listed above. This may include: providing general information to requests and visitors, providing office space for reception area and expert meetings in Brussels, event logistics, setting-up and running the support of communication activities of the network (website, overall visual identity, social media, newsletters, editorial support on communications, translations of communication material).

Service providers, who are interested in these market operations are requested not to send a request for details, as such information will only be given in the tender specifications, together with the publication of the contract notice. Award of these contracts is dependent on Commission approval of a financing decision for these operations.
