This category is concerned with the development of training materials in accordance with analysis and design outputs. Development can take different forms depending on the requirements of the customer, each requiring specific skillsets. Embracing a ‘blended learning’ approach, skillsets are identified as follows:
— learning solution design,
— *learning solutions and product development,
— stakeholder management, and
— standards and quality assurance.
*This includes (but is not limited to) the design, production and testing of eLearning products, augmented reality products, physical learning, 2D and 3D animations, graphics.
— digital assets (e.g. app development, mobile training development, video, photography, graphic design), computer based simulation and virtual reality (VR), and
— telecommunications – e.g. design, development and delivery of occupational telecom training solutions for new specific telecommunications training solutions. Namely for IP data, IP voice (fixed), GSMr mobile, IP security and IP Station information and security systems to the UK railway.
Network Rail is keen to develop partnership relationships with those suppliers deemed to possess the capability to provide solutions to support large technological type programmes.
