Provision of Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance Services
Mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance services: planned preventative maintenance and remedial works for the specified council sites.
Mechanical and electrical (M&E) services including:
— heating, ventilation and air-conditioning,
— water supply, above and below ground surface and foul water drainage systems including pumps and petrol interceptors; sewerage treatment plants,
— control systems (BMS),
— power, including standby power systems,
— lighting (internal and external),
— lifts, hoists, man-safe and fall arrest systems,
— life systems, including fire alarms, extinguishers, dry risers, suppression systems and evacuation chairs,
— other items, e.g. automatic doors, power assisted doors and roller shutter doors,
— alarm systems: intruder alarms, panic alarms and screens, disabled WC alarms,
— water features.
Statutory test, inspection and/or monitoring including:
— water hygiene monitoring,
— portable appliance testing,
— periodic electrical testing,
— gas safety testing,
— emergency lighting testing,
— air quality monitoring.
Mechanical and electrical (M&E) maintenance services: planned preventative maintenance and remedial works for the specified council sites, such as offices, care homes, community centers, libraries and parks.
Candidates will be selected from those submitting selection questionnaire and associated documents, in accordance with the criteria stated in the selection questionnaire and selection questionnaire guidance.
