Temporary Accommodation (Emergency)
The Council has a legislative requirement to provide short term temporary accommodation to households which require this service under emergency circumstances.
This is a reactive service which is unpredictable in nature. Accommodation may be required for one or more nights, with most stays being less than seven nights. Full details of the requirement are contained within the tender documentation.
Single Rooms (One Adult)
Southbank Marina, Strathkelvin Place, KIRKINTILLOCH
The contract on offer is participation in a multi supplier Framework Agreement to deliver short term emergency temporary accommodation.
This is a reactive service which is unpredictable in nature. Accommodation may be required for one or more nights, with most stays being less than seven nights, but can be longer if required.
This lot is to accommodate 1 person.
Twin/Double Rooms (2 People)
This lot is to accommodate 2 people in a double/twin or larger room.
Triple Rooms (3 People)
This lot is for accommodation for 3 people in a room.
This lot is for accommodation for a Family room to accommodate 4 or more people.

It is a requirement of this tender that accommodation is provided within a 20 miles radius of the East Dunbartonshire Council area boundary.
The Authority expressly reserves the right:
1) Not to award any contract for either all or some of the lots as a result of the procurement process commenced by the publication of this notice;
2) to make whatever changes it may see fit to the content and structure of the tendering competition.
Also in no circumstances will the Authority be liable for any costs incurred by the tenderer(s).

The Authority will incorporate a 10 calendar day standstill period from the point at which information on the award of the contract is communicated with tenderers. This period allows for unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the Authority before the contract is entered into. Applicants have 2 working days from the notification of the award decision to request additional debriefing. Such additional information should be requested from the address and contact detailed in this notice.
