OSM (Open Space Grounds Maintenance) 2020-2022/23
Open (common) space maintenance to 29 locations across Perth, Dundee, Fife and 6 in Kirkintilloch.
Both lots may be awarded to a single contractor, however if a tendering contractor currently has a lot awarded with the association then a maximum of 1 lot will be awarded to that contractor. It is the associations condition that any contractor working on OSM has a maximum of 2 lots only.
OSM South East Area
South Dundee, North Fife and the Carse of Gowrie, south east perthshire.
This lot covers 33 sites of varying size, scope and scale across North Fife, South Dundee, Carse of gowrie and south east perthshire.
One 12 month extensions may be awarded depending on contractor performance, notified within the final 6 months of the existing contract term.
OSM Kirkintilloch Area
This lot covers 6 separate locations across East Dunbartonshire for common space maintenance.
One 12 month extensions may be awarded based on contractor performance, to be notified within the final 6 months of the original contact term.
Section III: Legal, economic, financial and technical information
Contractors must demonstrate their membership of a relevant trade body or professional organisation.
Must be able to demonstrate previous experience on contracts of a similar size and scope with clients of a similar nature with similar property portfolios.
To meet environmental impact requirements and to reduce carbon footprint, contractors must either have a base within the geographic area in which they wish to operate or commit to having 1 in place within 3 months of contract award as set out in the contract documents.

Section IV: Procedure
Caledonia Housing Association, 5 South St Johns Place Perth PH1 5SU.
Tenders will be opened on the afternoon of the deadline date. Operation will be carried out by association staff and board member(s) as per association policy and procedure.
Section VI: Complementary information
Contractors will be required to comply with Caledonia Housing Association's policies and procedures on residents' complaints, community benefits, tenant participation and KPIs linked to all aspects of the work.
Contractors and their supply chain will be required to actively participate in the achievement of social objectives relating to participation in skills development, employment and training programmes and other added value contributions by the contractors and their supply chain to support community programmes promoted by the association. Accordingly the contract performance conditions may relate in particular to secondary considerations.
Contractors will be limited to a maximum of 2 lots. award of which will be determined by what is deemed to be the most advantageous to the association in terms of cost, contractor location, size and scope of the contract. if any contractor currently has another lot awarded from the previous tender exercise then they can only be awarded 1 more. contractors will have to have or commit to having an operational base within the area of award within 3 months of the award date of the contract
