ASC0233 - Paid Persons Representative(s)
Paid Persons Representative (PPR) service Leicester provides support to a Relevant Person (RP) who has no family or friends. Appointed PPR(s) will and are able to act as an appropriate Relevant Persons Representative (RPR). A Relevant Person is a person who is or has become deprived of their liberty in a hospital or care home. The purpose of the service is to provide a free, independent, culturally sensitive PPR Service to Relevant Persons (RP) (over 18) who are deprived of their liberty subject to standard authorisations under the Mental Capacity Act 2005.
