The scope of the new collaborative arrangement is still being developed and there is a potential to have a multi lot arrangement around the following services:
1) Traditional Telephony;
2) IP Telephony (including SIP, VoIP etc);
3) Enterprise/bundled service encompassing a full range of telephony services and potentially including mobile voice & data services as a “one stop shop”;
4) Maintenance of telephony equipment.
Consideration is also being given to delivering this arrangement through a dynamic purchasing system (DPS). A key objective of a DPS is to offer a straightforward, flexible and suitable route to market for Scottish public sector organisations and further details on a DPS can found in our procurement journey — https://www.procurementjourney.scot/node/547/.
