Contract 1 — Sighthill TRA Ground Remediation is a Design & Build Contract which will require the appointment of a Contractor to develop a detailed design for this particular contract. The scope of works incorporates, but is not limited to, remediation of contaminated soils, treatment of Galligu, grout curtains, groundwater pump,treat and bioremediation, removal of redundant landscaping structures, earthworks to realise a serviced development platform, slope stabilisation, new road works, utilities and construction of bus turning circle, demolition works, and ecological mitigation where required.

This period allows unsuccessful tenderers to seek further debriefing from the contracting authority before the contract is entered into. If an appeal regarding the award of the contract has not been successfully resolved the public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2012 provide for aggrieved parties who have been harmed or are at risk of harm by a breach of the rule to take action in the Sheriff Court or Court of Session.
