Furniture and Associated Services
Framework Agreement for the supply of office and patient furniture to all entities constituted pursuant to the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978 (i.e. all NHS Scotland Health Boards, Special Health Boards and the Authority or other NHS organisations established pursuant to the NHS (Scotland) Act 1978) and any Integrated Joint Boards established pursuant to the new Public Bodies (Joint Working) Scotland Act 2014. All Scottish Hospices.
The supply and delivery of patient furniture to include but not limited to various types of seating including patient chairs with various additional options in both manual and electric, overbed tables, bedside lockers and bariatric furniture, All suppliers awarded to the framework must be able to provide a full project management service which includes pre-installation assessment, supply, delivery, assembly, final placement, installation and handover.
The supply and delivery of office furniture to include but not limited to various types of desking, pedestals, chairs including operators chairs, visitor seating, beam seating, lounge seating, conference furniture,desk screens, office storage. All suppliers awarded to the framework must be able to provide a full project management service which includes pre-installation assessment, supply, delivery, assembly, final placement,installation and handover.

It should be noted that as part of the pre-tender strategy review and in partnership with Zero Waste Scotland, the Authority is looking to explore market/supplier capacity and capability in circularity of furniture design, production, supply and services. The recent PIN issued by Zero Waste Scotland on 7th February should be noted which includes a questionnaire completion request to gather much needed information:
Suppliers interested in this procurement should note their interest and email email@example.com by Friday 8th March. It is intended that a supplier engagement meeting will be held by end of March with circularity being the primary focus of the meeting — interested suppliers may be asked to complete the ZWS questionnaire in advance of the engagement session.
It should be further noted that the Authority intends to explore the option of reserving part of the contract or where appropriate a separate reserve framework — subject to market and supplier capacity and capability existing and interested Supported Businesses should also note interest.
