Der Knoten Frankfurt ist einer der verkehrsreichsten Knotenpunkte Deutschlands. In den letzten Jahren zeigt sich zunehmend, dass die bestehende Infrastruktur die kontinuierlich ansteigenden Zugzahlen und -längen nicht mehr abfahren kann. Die für das Jahr 2030 prognostizierten Verkehre steigen weiter an. Um die Leistungsfähigkeit des Knotens Frankfurt für die Zukunft sicher zu stellen, soll die Machbarkeit eines Fernbahntunnels untersucht werden. Durch den Tunnel sollen Fahrzeitverkürzungen und Kapazitätssteigerungen innerhalb des Knotens erzielt werden. Folgende Leistungen werden vergeben: Machbarkeitsstudie für Verkehrsanlagen und Ingenieurbauwerke Fernbahntunnel inkl. Tiefbahnhof.

Description of the procurement
Der Knoten Frankfurt ist einer der verkehrsreichsten Knotenpunkte Deutschlands.
