The overall objective of this study is to further assist EU Member States in implementing EU wide indicators on administrative data collection on intimate partner violence, rape and femicide developed by EIGE, and developing a classification system on femicide.

Specific objective(s):

The specific objectives will contribute to improved comparability and uniformity of administrative data on gender-based violence.

The specific objectives are:

1) To assess the progress made at a national level in improving data availability, in order to provide uniform data on intimate partner violence and enhance EU data comparability;

2) To improve data collection on gender-related killings of women and girls by developing a classification system.
