The Scottish Ministers, acting through Scottish Procurement, intend to establish replacement National Framework Agreements for the supply of Desktop Client Devices, Mobile Client Devices and Thin Client Devices. The Framework Agreements will be available for use by all Scottish public sector and third sector organisations, across the geography of Scotland.

The national frameworks are likely to be made up of the following Lots:
Lot 1 — Provision of Desktop Client Devices to include a corporate PC, TFT monitor, Workstation and Mobile Workstation.
Lot 2 — Provision of Mobile Client Devices to include an entry level, corporate, ultraportable and convertible mobile device.
Lot 3 — Provision of a range of Thin Client Desktop devices and mobile devices optimised for cloud computing.
All Lots will be supplemented by a menu of upgrades, downgrades, accessories and services associated with the deployment of these devices.
There will be a mandatory requirement to submit evaluation devices which meet the technical requirements detailed in the tender documentation. These devices will be subject to a rigorous technical evaluation to ensure they meet the minimum requirement of the framework in terms of specification, functionality, performance and lifespan.
