The organ's condition is now subject to wear and tear, and the organ therefore requires renovation work. The objective of the work is to repair all weak points and prevent new errors from occurring, and at the same time safeguard the organ's musical and cultural history completely. The renovation work shall result in an organ that is functioning reliable and well under various climatic conditions.

The organ is expected to endure major fluctuations in regards humidity and shall work faultlessly in the church's normal indoor climate without using humidifiers The organ shall have a guarantee showing that the instrument is adapted for the church normal indoor climate.
