Network Rail is seeking to dispose of a number of track renewals on-track machines, wagons and associated spares that are surplus to our current operational requirements.
A list detailing available machines and wagons will be circulated to interested parties who respond to this PIN, together with the deadline for the submission of bids.
The list will include, but may not be limited to;
— 2 plasser and theurer RM95 Ballast Cleaners,
— Plasser and theurer MFS-D and MFS-SB wagons,
— Plasser and theurer NFS-D wagons and NB-PW power wagon,
— Plasser and theurer VM80 vacuum extraction vehicles.
A large quantity of spare parts and equipment for RM95 ballast cleaners, MFS and NFS wagons will also be offered.
The machines will be sold as seen and where standing; they have, however, been in use as part of Network Rail’s operational track renewals fleet until recently. Opportunities to view the equipment will be offered prior to the bidding deadline.
Interested parties will be expected to have the capacity to arrange for the removal and transport of the vehicles.
