The purpose of this call for tender is to establish a framework service contract with an economic operator who will provide services supporting the operation and evolution of the Copernicus Reference Data Access node (CORDA). This call for tender is open on equal terms to all natural and legal persons from one of the 28 Member States of the European Union and to all natural and legal persons established in an EEA member country, which has signed an agreement with the European Commission for participation in the Copernicus Programme.

II.2.4)Description of the procurement:
This open call for tender relates to the assistance needed by the EEA in accomplishing the delegated activities pertaining to “Operational provision of geospatial reference data for the Copernicus Services”. The Copernicus Reference Data Access (CORDA) is a single entry point node to relevant national and regional geospatial reference data from the EEA-39 for the Copernicus Services. The focus of the awarded framework service contract will be on five areas in relation to CORDA:
(1) operation and maintenance;
(2) content management;
(3) user support;
(4) development activities and
(5) project management.
