The contract involves:
1) running the plant; this includes performing all necessary works for the installations to operate correctly and for energy or utilities, required in the form of electricity as well as hot, chilled and demineralised water, to be supplied;
2) maintaining the plant or performing all necessary works on machinery and equipment so that they remain efficient and operational over time, and guarantee the installation's reliability and safety conditions.
The contractor is therefore required to carry out all preventive maintenance and repairs (routine and non-routine) on all machinery, components and installations in the plant and relevant adjacent areas.
