The subject of the framework contract is the performance of the external verification of the Commission EMAS environmental management system in accordance with the EMAS Regulation for the 4 years (2016–2019) by accredited verifiers and the delivery at the end of the process of all the required documents needed for EMAS registration.

The contractor must be able to deliver at the same time the ISO 14001 certificate for the Commission sites which applied for it.
